Ping Chong + Company, a nationally recognized not-for-profit downtown theater company, is seeking self-motivated and organized interns for Spring 2018. The interns will support all administrative aspects of the organization. Additional areas of focus, depending on interest and experience, may include Marketing, Arts Management, Arts Education, Social Media and/or Web Development. The interns will gain insight into the workings of a community engaged, social justice oriented non-profit theater, and will have the opportunity to engage with Ping Chong and the rest of the staff in mentorship and career guidance.

Undergraduate students are encouraged to seek college credit. The interns will also receive a small stipend.

-exceptional communication and organization skills
-general knowledge of computer software--graphic design and web development skills are a plus!
-ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others
-enthusiasm about devised and community-engaged theater

While previous administrative office experience is preferred, professional theater experience is not required. POC, LGBTQ individuals, and those with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.

12-20 hours per week, end of January – May. Some evening and weekend hours may be required. Exact start and end dates are flexible.
