Native Voices, Secret Histories

a project in the Undesirable Elements series

Created in collaboration with the Lied Center of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University; presented from April 28-30, 2005 for 3 performances at the Lied Center of Kansas. This project was created as part of a community-wide summit seeking to foster understanding and improve relations between Native and non-Native populations in the area. Native Voices explored the lives and experiences of five Lawrence residents from the Dine (Navajo), Choctaw, Omaha, and Kiowa nations.
