About the Production

Anna Into Nightlight is a theatrical experiment in non-linear narrative. It was inspired by the novels of Alain Robbe-Grillet and the films of Alain Resnais. Two sisters growing up in two different worlds, one American and the other European, converge. The cultural differences of their lived experience emerge and clash. To make matters worse they are in love with the same man. In Anna Into Nightlight, Ping Chong’s integration of film, sound, dance, puppetry and theater into a coherent form continues.
