Undesirable Elements/Rotterdam

Undesirable Elements/Rotterdam is an interview-based theater production exploring the experiences of residents of Rotterdam, Holland. The cast members have origins in Angola, Iran, Indonesia, Chile, Suriname, and the Netherlands. Each cast member shares the unique experiences that brought them to reside in Rotterdam, and the challenges and joys of embodying complex identities. The production seeks to break down stereotypes and engage in community dialogue by showcasing the real-life stories and experiences of Rotterdam residents whose stories might not otherwise be heard.
